Eight fine songs. Each of these songs are quite unique. All of them have lyrics with a strong point of view.
Billion Dollar Pill is political satire and has been compared to the work of Phil Ochs and Tom Lehrer. Inside a Hole has a gorgeous piano-centered arrangement and deals with a struggle against sadness. Oh is about quantum physics. The synth-based Your Face makes use of three vocal tracks, offset to give the sense of an in-head conversation with one's self. Anyway is a song about being sad at Christmas time. Father is about fathers, war and connects that with religious view of father. Strange Bird is a more traditional rock tune about fleeting romance. The Song in My Heart reflects on life and death and any meaning that might come from the journey.
